Japan OAT Trip, Nov 2014. Kanazawa. Not sure if we are still in Gokayama but we visit a workshop to see how Washi, a thick fibrous paper made from mulberry bark, is made. We get to make 3 sheets ourselves, with our own decoration. Washi will last for hundreds of years. A memmber of our group working on their sheets. We also buy some addl items in the gift shop.
